Theiija Balasubramanian is a sophomore from Houston, Texas, majoring in Public Policy and Global Health. She joined BOW her freshman fall, and was on the Consulting Case Competition committee prior to her role as Logistics Chair. For the summer of 2021, she worked with the Population Insitute as a Stanback fellow, and published a research brief on women's health. Outside of BOW, Theiija is involved in Duke Lasya, Habitat for Humanity, Bass Connections and Duke Impact Investing Group. She is also involved in the Dzialga Women in Finance Intitiative. In her free time, Theiija enjoys Formula One racing, biking and spending time with her friends. Theiija is very excited to work with the wonderful women of BOW on exec this year!
