The External Initiatives committee aims to help foster stronger and lasting connections between BOW and our local alumni, the Durham community, as well as our wider intercollegiate network. Our events are meant to get our members involved in the great communities surrounding BOW! From an innovation internship program with local startups to intercollegiate mixers with business-oriented women at other institutions, the external initiatives committee aims to grow BOW’s impact and connections outside of our own organization. Our committee meets weekly to organize events and support BOW’s outreach. As a relatively new committee, we are enthusiastic to continue growing BOW’s presence and are excited to see what initiatives our team can accomplish this year!
