VP of Professional Development

Samaya Pattim is a junior from Dallas, Texas studying Economics and Computer Science. She joined BOW during her freshman fall and during her first year served on the Communications Committee. Her sophomore year she joined BOW’s Exec Board as Logistics Chair, and she’s excited to return to Exec this year as VP of Professional Development. During her freshman summer, Samaya interned at a women empowerment nonprofit in Seattle through the DukeEngage program. This past summer, Samaya did the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program and interned at Goldman Sachs in their asset management division. Outside of BOW, Samaya is also involved with Duke Business Society, The Muse Magazine, and the Dzialga Women in Finance Initiative. In her free time Samaya likes visiting national parks, going on road trips, and finding new coffee shops.
