Diversity and Inclusion Chair
Daniella is a sophomore hailing from the great city of Miami, FL, majoring in Economics and Spanish, while also pursuing the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate. Given her heritage as a Cuban-Italian child of immigrant families, Daniella has a distinct passion for engaging with people of diverse backgrounds, thoughts, and perspectives as often as possible. This interest has inspired her to join the Diversity & Inclusion committee during its first year of existence, before now serving as the Chair. This past summer, Daniella combined her interest in financial services with that of social impact by spending some time learning about Institutional Securities at Morgan Stanley, followed by consulting in Guatemala for Social Entrepreneur Corps. When she isn’t hanging out in West Union for hours at a time or searching far and wide for good eats in the Durham area, Daniella can be found doing crossword puzzles, playing/watching soccer, or kayaking.
